Features from: 14 Nov 2024 – Article file size validation, behind the scenes improvements

Article file size validation – incorporation: Companies House has a 2MB size limit on the pdf articles that are attached to incorporations.  We’ve had a few rejected recently for being too large.  We now check the file size and will warn you if too large.

Changes to Confirmation Statement copy – shareholder name changes:  a change of shareholder name is a reason on its own to file a full updates Confirmation Statement, even if there have not been any other changes.  We now check and advise you about this.

Generate copy of special resolutions for filing at CH – custom shareholder resolutions: if you create a custom special resolution via a perform method in Kudocs, the pdf will show all shareholder signatures on that pdf.  This is perfectly correct, but not what you may want on the document you file at CH.  So you can now generate a copy of the SR with a signature certificate from a company officer that confirms the resolution was properly passed, without showing the signatures.
