Redesignate Shares
This guide explains how to record a redesignation of shares using Kudocs. You must complete the required legal process to redesignate the shares offline, and then use Kudocs to record and implement the changes.
The class into which the shares are being redesignated must already exist. If it does not, you will first need to create that share class, and then return to the process.
Shares can only be redesignated to a share class with the same nominal value. If this is not the case, you will need first to subdivide or consolidate the share capital accordingly.

Record route
Select the share class you want to redesignate from.
For each shareholder, select the number of shares you have redesignated.
Once confirmed, shareholdings are updated.
Outputs - all handled automatically by Kudocs
- Share redesignation registered.
- Shareholder page updated.
- Process information stored in Kudocs for future reference & any documents filed in document store.
- If selected, share certificates issued for the share redesignation.
- CoHse updated (by manual filing of SH08 and/ or SH10).
