Adding notes to transactions – transaction level and shareholder level

Can I add notes to transactions?  Yes – you can add a variety of notes to transactions, depending on what the transaction is:

For share transactions (issue, transfers, etc) there are 2 types of note that you can add.

(i) transaction notes – these will appear only in the transaction register:

 

(ii) shareholder notes – these will appear in the transaction register and the register of members.  For share issues, you can also add details of non-cash consideration.

 

For other transactions (e.g. officer appointments, etc): you can add notes about the transaction (that will appear in the transaction register.

 

Can I add notes that are specific to stakeholders in a transaction?  Yes.  You can add notes that relate only to a specific stakeholder in a transaction.  They will appear on that shareholder’s page in any exported register of members as well as on the corresponding transaction register.

 

How do I add notes to a transaction that is already recorded in Kudocs?. This is easy to do. You can add notes to the transaction by opening the transaction and then adding or editing the notes that belong to the transaction.

 

How do I add/ edit notes to a stakeholder in a transaction that has already been recorded in Kudocs?  You can do this from the stakeholder’s profile.  Just go the relevant transaction and click on the notes icon and you can add/ edit the notes for that stakeholder.  See here for more information.
