Companies House ACSP registration update – new launch date 18 March 2025

Companies House has just announced that they will be launching the ACSP registration process on 18 March 2025 (having been delayed since February 2025).  Individuals will be able to start completing their own IDV from 8 April 2025.

Their update says:

“Companies House software provider update, 13 March 2025

We can now confirm the ACSP registration service will launch on 18 March. We’ve also rescheduled the date from which an individual will be able to voluntarily verify their identity to 8 April, allowing for comprehensive testing.

These changes are part of our ongoing technology transformation to implement Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency (ECCT) Act measures. We remain committed to ensuring all systems work properly before legal requirements take effect.

Thank you for your patience. We’ll continue to provide support and information to customers for them to be able to prepare in good time.”
